Tutorial Preparation
This page details the steps needed to get the tutorial ready. Needless to say the off-line
code has to be set up but the assumption is that the tutee is working at a site where
this has already been done.
The following environmental variables have to be defined:-
- MINOS_TUTORIAL_DATA should point to a directory
(local or AFS) that holds the data files to be used.
Default: /afs/fnal.gov/files/data/minos/d01/minos_tutorial_data
- MINOS_TUTORIAL_MACROS should point to a directory
(local or AFS) that holds the macros to be used.
Default: $SRT_PUBLIC_CONTEXT/WebDocs/Companion/overview/macros
It is recommended that you make a local copy of the data files and point
MINOS_TUTORIAL_DATA to that rather than rely on AFS.
Video Preparation
Pete Border prepared the
ROOT videos.
They can be played directly from the web or they can be downloaded
from
/afs/fnal.gov/files/data/minos/d01/minos_tutorial_videos.
and then played locally.
