Getting a Kerberos Principal

Fill out the application.
This page has useful links explaining about strong
authentication. You will need to change your initial
password within 30 days of receiving it. If you don't have
kerberos installed locally then you can login to a
FNAL node. Don't forget to use ssh to get a secure
connection.
You should check the box for the CRYPTOCard
- The FNAL helpdesk creates the
accounts. You will receive email notification when your principal
is created. You will be required to call the helpdesk to get your inital
password and PIN for the CRYPTOCard. You will also have to provide
shipping information to Monica Sasse so that your card can be sent
to you if you are not going to be at FNAL in the near future.
