Getting a FNAL Computer Account

  1. Make sure that you first have a FNAL Visitor ID.
  2. Apply for your FNAL computer account. Fill out this form.
    You should request:
    1. A Fermilab email address on the Fermilab Mail Server. The Users Office and the person who processes the account requests will use your FNAL email address to send you mail. SO PLEASE SET YOUR FORWARD CORRECTLY.
    2. A kerberos principal.
    3. An account on FNALU.
    4. A cryptocard (optional). You will also have to provide shipping information to Crae Tate (crae@fnal.gov) so that your card can be sent to you if you are not going to be at FNAL in the near future.
  3. After receiving your FNALU account, request an account on the MINOS Linux Cluster. Please fill out the account request form.
